Scholarship Opportunities

AENC is now
accepting applications for the 2008-2009 Scholarships!!

In order to promote education in the
field of association management, AENC offers members a number
of scholarships each year. Scholarship opportunities include
the following:
Raleigh Dingman Scholarship
$1,500 scholarship to a CEO or Association staff member to
use toward tuition for the first year at the Institute for
Organization Management, administered by the US Chamber of
Commerce
National Scholarships
$1,000 individual scholarships to sponsor a members
attendance at a national conference (outside of North Carolina),
such as: the American Society of Association Executives, Meeting
Planners International, etc.
Professional Improvement Scholarships
$500 scholarships for members to assist in achieving professional
credentials by attending association management courses. Examples:
NCSU Management Program, Duke Center for Non-Profits, etc.
Scholarships for members towards attendance at seminars or
the pursuit of professional certification from organizations
such as AENC, ASAE, HSMAI, MPI, etc.
Scholarship Recipient Guidelines:
•The recipient must be an active member of AENC.
•Scholarships are non-transferable and they must be
used and receipts submitted to AENC by August 31 of the year
following receipt of the scholarship.
•A scholarship may not be used for programs attended
prior to receiving the scholarship.
•Scholarship funds will be awarded upon submission of
the required request form with the registration form or receipts
from the meeting or event the winner attends.
•Receipt of previous scholarships will be considered
in determining who receives scholarships this year.
