General Session 1 - 3 Cups of Coffee - A Model for Bridging Divides and Fostering Curiosity in Leaders
In the past year, we have navigated a pandemic, societal unrest, and economic volatility among other challenges.  The need for leaders to be in community with one another and leverage one another’s strengths has never been more critical.  How do we bridge divides across differences, strengthen relationships among key stakeholders, fuel curiosity, and build trust and respect?  Join us for Three Cups of Coffee to learn more.

Participants will learn about and discuss volunteer engagement success stories and “what’s working”, trouble-shoot top volunteer engagement challenges submitted by AENC members before the conference, and identify key tactics to take action on right away!

General Session 4 - Leading with Empathy
Empathy became a leadership siren call as we navigated through uncertain times over the last two years. It’s a critical component of emotional intelligence. However, empathy is so much more than being in tune with our colleagues and volunteers. We have an opportunity for a societal shift that is desperately needed, a chance to demonstrate to students and young professionals a kinder way of being in the world, and perhaps a responsibility as those who lead the professions and industries of the world to ask ourselves how to utilize our position in society to be a force that puts human interactions first, as we create our impacts. Let’s think together about what could be and how we might get there….

CMP Bootcamp 5.5 credit hours for bootcamp + 1.5 for CEO Power Panel = 7 total CEUs for both CAE and CMP

This format will allow attendees to get extensive training on a specific topic and obtain additional CEUs, while still participating in the breaks, networking and meals taking place with the conference.

NOTE: AENC will follow all mandates, laws, executive orders and Mayoral proclamations.  If the aforementioned allow us to gather in person, we plan to do that.  We will also continue as a key fundamental, to appreciate and respect each members personal feelings on how best to participate in AENC events. As a result, we will continue to make education hybrid as long as there is member demand for it.
