Lori W. Hedrick

Lori Hedrick is the meeting professional for the Burroughs Wellcome Fund. She joined
BWF in 2010 after serving as the vice president of meeting and event planning at Wachovia Corporation. She received a B.S. in Applied Science from Winston-Salem State University and a Master of Hospitality Administration from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. She received her Certified Special Events Professional Certification in 2015, Certification in Meeting Management in 2012 and Certified Meeting Professional Certification in 2002. She belongs to Meeting Professionals International, the International Live Events Association, the Professional Convention Management Association and the Association Executives of North Carolina. In 2011 Hedrick was named as Planner of the Year for Meeting Professionals International Carolinas Chapter and in 2020 inducted into the Chapter’s Hall of Fame. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Professional Convention Management Association Southeast Chapter and MPI Carolinas Chapter.
