Kathryn Short

Kathryn Short has been in the hospitality industry for over 15 years and currently works as the Regional Sales Manager for Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau (Visit Raleigh). Kathryn graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is an active member of AENC and the FUEL Committee, MPI Carolinas Chapter, NCGBTA, SCSAE, SGMP Carolinas Chapter, and YPN. She currently serves on the board for MPI-CC as the VP of DEI, YPN as the Membership Chair, NCSGMP as the Treasurer, and NATCAP SGMP as Carolina’s Liaison. Kathryn won Volunteer of the Year for 2023 from Meeting Professionals International Carolina’s Chapter.
