Kevin Snyder

Dr. Kevin Snyder is a “recovering” motivational speaker based in North Carolina who has presented for over 1,000,000 people and 1,500 audiences through all 50 states and several countries. Kevin is not a naturally motivated person or gifted speaker though. He was diagnosed with depression at just 12 years old. Kevin's journey to recovery inspired him with a desire to share his story to help others – especially youth. While his professional career started working on college campuses, Kevin soon felt a calling to share his story beyond just the classroom - this is when his passion and pursuit for research, speaking and writing truly began. Since Kevin's first presentation nearly 20 years ago, Kevin is now a top-rated professional speaker and became the only speaker in the world in 2022 awarded with the prestigious Accredited Speaker (AS) designation from Toastmasters International. He also recently earned the Certified Speaking Professional® (CSP) credential, one of the highest honors in the speaking profession held by a very small percentage of professional speakers. Prior to full-time professional speaking, Kevin taught and worked in Student Affairs at several universities. He earned a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and most recently he served as Dean of Students for High Point University. He has also authored several best-selling books and presented on multiple TEDx stages. Kevin lives in North Carolina and - fun fact - lived his childhood dream of meeting Bob Barker and winning BIG on the television game show, The Price is Right!
