Sharon is the former CEO of the North Carolina Association of CPAs. She retired in January 2024 after almost 40 years with NCACPA.
Sharon is a Past President of the CPA Society Executives Association, and the Association Executives of North Carolina. She currently serves as a member of the UNC Master of Accounting Advisory Board, the NC State Master of Accounting Advisory Board, and the Louisburg College Board of Trustees.
Sharon received AENC’s James J. Lowry Outstanding CEO Award in 2023, and was a recipient of The Long Leaf Pine Award in 2024.
In her spare time, Sharon loves the freedom retirement provides she and her husband Keith to travel!
