Professional Bio
Dr. Cassandra G. Hill, DBA(c), CHA, CFE, is an organizational development expert and hospitality industry leader who serves as Founder and CEO of Suite Dreams Consultants. With more than three decades of experience, she combines doctoral-level expertise in Organizational Development and Design with hands-on industry leadership to deliver transformative solutions that drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Dr. Hill's signature engagement is a twelve-year tenure as Executive Director of the Choice Hotels Owners Council (CHOC), where she served as principal leader and spokesperson for 4,000 member properties and 12,000 owners and operators, and as liaison between the CHOC Board of Directors and Choice Hotels International. Under her leadership, CHOC achieved a 30 percent increase in member engagement through a comprehensive restructuring of its governance, operational efficiency, and member value proposition, including strengthened bylaws, policy development, and fiscal oversight of operating budgets. She also directed all membership voting, reaching a 68 percent participation rate.
Her influence extends to board service with the International Franchise Association's Diversity Institute Black Franchise Leadership Council, where she serves as Vice Chairwoman, the American Hotel and Lodging Association's ForWard Advisory Board, and the Duke Family Patient Advisory Council. She holds a Doctorate in Organizational Development and Design, an MBA, and an MS in Leadership, and is currently completing a Doctor of Business Administration.
Dr. Hill is a recognized speaker on generational dynamics in the workplace and on franchisor and franchisee relationships. She has developed a proprietary framework for building bilateral accountability between owners and franchisors, drawing on her research and her direct experience bridging brand and operator interests.
