Professional Bio
Hunter Odom is a Group Sales Manager at the JB Duke Hotel in Durham, North Carolina, where he works with associations, SMERF markets, and university affiliated groups to create thoughtful, experience driven meetings and events. With a background in theatre, he approaches hospitality through the lens of storytelling, focusing on how spaces feel as much as how they function.
Prior to JB Duke, Hunter served as a Venue Sales and Events Manager at The Grand Hall, helping elevate the property into a sought after destination through intentional programming and service.
Outside of work, Hunter enjoys life with his wife, Xana, and their two daughters, Dolly and Honey, who inspire much of his creativity. He has a passion for design, photography, and curating experiences, from playlists to spaces, that feel like something you want to step into
