John Joseph Meidl is a seasoned association professional who focuses on building smart membership models, strengthening operations, and helping organizations stay relevant and resilient. A U.S. Air Force veteran and college graduate, he brings practical leadership, systems-level thinking, and a steady, solution-oriented presence, even when the group chat is spiraling.

At the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association and Capitol Hill Management Services, John helped develop membership strategies that actually work, led marketing efforts that moved the needle, and built programs designed for long-term value, not just quick wins. He’s known for cutting through noise, connecting dots, and bringing structure to environments that need it, preferably before they catch fire.

Rooted in his American Filipino heritage and shaped by a military upbringing in Denver, John leads with purpose, resilience, and a service-first mindset. He believes in steady progress, shared accountability, and leaving systems better than he found them. He also believes most problems can be sorted out with a good spreadsheet and a better playlist.

Outside the office, John spends time with his wife Kelley, their daughter Cecilia, and their two dogs, Raine and Lilith. He’s a lifelong Colorado Avalanche and baseball fan, and once sold personal pan pizzas at Mile High Stadium during some unforgettable games and concerts.
