Professional Bio
Alison Harding, CMP, CMM studied Hospitality Management at East Carolina University and began her career in meeting planning and project management at Universal Meeting Management in Raleigh, North Carolina.
She then spent 13 years at Global Knowledge as Assistant Manager of Meetings and Events, overseeing company events and the travel program, before serving as Director of Events and Operations for the Association Executives of North Carolina (AENC). Alison later joined the North Carolina Trucking Association (NCTA) as Vice President of Education, Events, and Programs, where she redesigned the organization’s education strategy and planned annual events and educational offerings.
Alison is currently a Senior Project Manager at Medical Leverage, a communications company, where she manages complex medical communications and promotional projects for healthcare clients.
A passionate advocate for the meetings and events industry, Alison spent 12 years serving on the Board of Directors for Meeting Professionals International, Carolinas Chapter (MPI-CC), most recently completing her term as President.
Outside of work, she has a passion for exercise and spends her time with her husband, two children and four dogs in Wake Forest, NC.
