Brian Ambuehl is Director of Sales for the Greensboro Convention and Visitors Bureau, where he has served for 26 years in roles of increasing responsibility. Today he leads the sales team in positioning Greensboro as a premier destination for meetings, conferences, and sporting events. His leadership focuses on generating hotel room nights, driving measurable economic impact, and elevating Greensboro’s reputation as a dynamic, accessible, and affordable destination for associations and visitors alike.
Known for his collaborative approach, Brian emphasizes strong partnerships and shared success across hotels, venues, and community stakeholders. Throughout his tenure, Brian has consistently exceeded performance goals and earned the trust of planners nationwide.
A proud North Carolinian, Brian is equally committed to his community. Away from work, he enjoys time with his wife Staci and their children, Abigail and Max, and can often be found on the golf course or exploring Greensboro’s vibrant dining scene.
