Keynote 2
- Mastering Your Memory
Tyler Enslin, Tyler Enslin International

The human brain possesses an incredible amount of power to store and recall information. Unfortunately most people are never taught how to fully access this ability. In this fun and highly engaging training program you will learn unique and exciting methods to increase your memory skills to extraordinary levels. Most importantly, discover how to use these new skills in daily life. Tyler delivers the training in an energetic fashion with no notes or PowerPoint to encourage maximum audience participation and to impart as much value as possible to all who attend.

Keynote 3 - Moving Beyond Active Shooter
Jerry McCormick, Chief Safety Officer, Personal Safety at Work

An Employee’s Guide to Personal Safety at Work, at Home, & In-Between is a turnkey program for employees’ personal safety.  The training is based on 20 years of research and training police officers, along with teachers and security professionals about Active Shooter and other critical incidents that they might face.  This course is designed for you to understand how you can learn what a police officer knows to keep you safe.  It shows the employee how to assess danger, determine how they will respond physiologically to the danger and how to limit the impact on them.  It also shows why you should trust your natural instincts, take immediate action steps to limit or avoid the threat all together, and how to use buildings and commercial grade construction to make yourself safer and protected from dangers in the event of a dangerous situation.  This training covers Active Shooter response and goes well beyond Active Shooter to train the employee or community members in the concepts needed from everyday situations that are much more likely to occur.

Through this workshop, attendees will learn how associations can leverage tools, many of which are free or low cost.

Breakout 4
 - Interviewing Skills
Donald Thompson, CEO, Walk West
Often, we as hiring managers confuse buzzwords with value in interviews when the reality is that we need examples of how a candidate's skills a can be applied to your business outcomes and goals.  In his 25 year career, Donald has interviewed hundreds of job candidates in many industries for roles from receptionist to CEO. In his opinion, the most vital set of decisions in any business is the team that you select. To recruit effectively, you must understand how to recognize gaps in experience, identify those who can scale to leadership and evaluate candidates for cultural fit. In this discussion, we will explore how to map candidates' skills to organizational goals with specificity and understand how to create pressure points in the interview in four categories: problems solved, conflict resolution, time management and communication.
